Non-Medical Help Provider - Registration

Individuals or organisations interested in providing Non-Medical Help (NMH) services to Student Finance England funded DSA students, are required to register with Disabled Students Allowances Quality Assurance Group (DSA-QAG). Please note, if you supply services solely to Student Finance Wales, you do NOT have to register.

New NMH providers wishing to apply for registration status with DSA-QAG will be required to complete the following steps for application.

Registration Steps 1-7

Step 1: Review the NMH QAF, once you have reviewed the framework and you or your organisation can adhere to the standards, you can progress to the next steps - NMH QAF

Step 4: Read the Frequently Asked Questions - NMH Online Registration FAQs v4.0

Step 5: Complete the staff list template for NMH support workers (please note, this is required for self-employed providers also) - Staff List for Registration

Step 6: Complete the NMH standard rates template and add this to your website (if applicable) - NMH Rates Template v3.0

Step 7: Complete the online application form. Click to continue to Online Registration Questionnaire.

The registration questionnaire must be completed in one session, it is vital you have read the guidance as this will inform you of mandatory information requirements, as you are not permitted to save it and return to it later.

On completion of the application form, DSA-QAG will evaluate the application and consider your application to register with DSA-QAG within 20 working days.
